It's Li-Ren, but with twelve times the regular angst! Katt: The countdown to the final Hanasakeru Seishounen episode continues–just two to go! Seriously, what am I going to do with this series over? I mean, I still have other series to blog, but I’m going to miss my regular commenters for this series… *tear* Okay, okay, I’ll save the sentimentality for the finale. For now, episode 37- let me get this straight: Li-Ren gets the girl and gives her up the second a teeny death threat is uttered. Yeesh, c’mon Li-Ren! Man up! But I suppose a conflict like this is necessary to solidify the final pairing, assuring us that they can make it through ~anything~ together. Man, this episode was so very angsty that it’ll... Hello there Steve: I am late. This episode, we have a huge dosage of yuri love. It’s not enough that our harem lead has a naughty harem chasing after him, we need some same-sex pairings to throw in. Not that I’m complaining. Read on to see the sexy pictures of two girls at it. Or am I jesting? (more…) Read More →
They're silhouetted ominously, so you -know- they're evil! Katt: Five episodes in and I’m still not sure what to make of this series. It’s keeping me entertained, that’s for certain, but I still for the life of me can’t understand what SHAFT is doing with this anime adaptation. At first it was all about twisting things around, then in the last episode they seemed to be going onto the manga path, and now, while still mostly following the manga, there are odd changes being made that I just don’t know what to think of. But okay, I’ll bite – I want to keep watching to see where they’re going with this. But you’re certainly making my blogging duties very difficult for me! Main points in... (more...)
Love in the air? Minnie: Hello everyone! Look at this. It’ll be like the third week in a row where I actually blog on time. Sweet. Guess why? Because I have this nice block in between my class and lab that I can use for blogging instead of eating. Aren’t I an awesome HSA Leader? Anyways, I won’t talk about how I barely passed by Botany test today. Instead, let’s go onto this lovely episode of Kimi ni Todoke. (more…) Read More →
Dari: Sorry for being late again, I had little time to work on this over the last week, due to lab reports, and a ski trip, and so episode 5 will also be a little while in the making ,but should be out before episode 6, but then, I believe, I have another Lab report to write… Such is life. What better picture for the Shipping Countdown other than a ship? Minnie: Hello everyone and welcome to the newest countdown at our disposal. This is the Shipping Countdown brought to you by Minnie and Katt. For the sake of my sanity, I will be calling her TZM from now on. Hopefully, you guys don’t get lost. I’m teasing. Katt: Lucky for you all, I will still be calling Minnie ‘Minnie’ because I am not nearly as much of a nickname-fanatic as she is. Aren’t I so sweet for making our readers’ lives easier? How can you say no to that face?? Katt: No, that is not a typo of ‘many’ in the title–I intentionally wrote ‘manly’. While Kajika got plenty of screentime in this episode too, it was stolen by the array of male characters that are in this series. It seems that we are saying ‘goodbye’ to more and more of said guys as this series moves into its final episodes (only three left…I can’t believe it!). For this entry, I’m going to acknowledge the partings that are taking place and how undeniably bromantic they are in nature. Oh, and of course I’ll bring up that final scene that almost made me shed manly tears too… um, womanly tears. Right. (more…) Read More →
Garrick: Oops. Garrick: Well, this new arc follows our two Antiskill members, Tessou and Yomikawa. We don’t get much info on their personalities until this episode, and I’ll tell you Tessou is the clumsy-moe type… The one who trips and makes mistakes and such. Cute. And Yomikawa… is the spartan-type senior in the police force (Antiskill)… Oh. And guess who else makes an appearance? Komoe-sensei! The loli teacher! (more…) Read More →
Garrick: Hiiragi is adorable. Garrick: I don’t really remember my years when I was in kindergarten, but I do know it wasn’t ever having to do with going out on dates with the teachers. On that note, though… Somewhat similar to Kodomo no Jikan, I never even thought about that… in that age. I dunno. I guess I’m just weird or something. Well… I KNOW I’m weird, so… uh… yeah. That was a waste of a paragraph. Anyway, on with the post. (more…) Read More →
Garrick: Aw, loli on shoulders. How cute. Garrick: Yes, we he have an extremely late review of this episode, but well… to my defense, I really didn’t know what to say. This anime’s randomness, while I did expect it… is hard to blog. This episode, as you could guess… is about lunch. More specifically, the eating habits of Yoshii… and how our female students make lunch. (more…) Read More →
... Oops. Garrick: Honestly, this anime is really simple. That’s all it tries to be, at least. Simple as it is… it’s pretty hilarious. The characters don’t grow, the people don’t change… things really don’t do much. And honestly, I don’t mind. (more…) Read More →

Minnie: Look there. I’m not that late in blogging KnT this time around. Huh. What is going on?! Anyways, I cannot wait for this episode and it’s finally here! It’s the one where Kurumi bursts into tears as seen above. Actually, she cries not once, not twice, but three times this episode for different reasons! For all you Kurumi haters, if this episode doesn’t convince you that she’s not that bad, you’re heartless >:C Just kidding. But yeah, this episode is dedicated to you Kurumi <3 (more…) Read More →
In which Kobato isn’t quite up to going “がんばります!” Miken: This series is still going strong, and with Sayaka sick this week, Kobato and Fujimoto take over the nursery and come up with touching ways to deal with the situation. Very few comedic antics this week as Kobato takes another serious turn. (more…) Read More →
Miken: It looks like Kobato’s still continuing with the episodic stories, this one is one of the better ones, still lagging far behind the dying Ginko tree from last week and the firefly story, but still quite ahead of the bakery shop and camera ones. While the runaway kid’s problems are solved as expected, it was nice to see him finally understanding that all the yelling from his grandfather was just his way of caring for him. In the end it was a touching story, but not one that really sticks out or tugs at one’s heartstrings very much. Shipping goggles…ON~! On the other... (more...)
