Remember kids, Never walk under bridges alone in the dark!

Richie: Hey guys, I’m back on the White Album wagon. I’ll be changing my blogging style a bit too, as my older one took a lot of time out of my schedule to complete. Anyway, we’re learning more about the Ogata siblings and about a certain character who has been neglected lately. What else can I say? Let’s start this review up~!

I support these two. ^_^

I support these two. ^_^

Minnie: Look at me! I’m on a blogging roll! Okay okay. I’ll give everyone a quick update on everyone on the team. Richie should be back with White Album this week. If not, I’m not blogging it because I’m dropping it off my blogging list. Katt is away at a friend’s house I believe. She should be back by Sunday/Monday (she has school after all). Taan is on an indefinite hiatus. Marissa will be back this week with Ride Back since she’s done with her midterms. Miken will blog a ToA entry and maybe a Reborn entry this weekend. As for Oni, his status is unknown and he’s probably going to be gone for a while. My secret advisor Ric is busy taking care of his sick mother and his college schedule for next year but he should be back with Gundam by Sunday. Duke will be here and not here like always. Steve and I are always here and on time. Lastly, our founder Koala aka Garrick will hopefully blog all his entries on a Saturday/Sunday like always. That’s the update! If anyone is interested in joining the blog or writing for Hey, Say, Anime, be sure to e-mail me! Hopefully, our next week will be more productive! Sorry for the long paragraph and please enjoy my Munto review!

A hostage situation?!

A hostage situation?!

Minnie: Thank goodness it’s a Friday! Even though my school week ends on Thursday, I’m happy to say that I still enjoy Friday’s as much as I do in high school! Anyways, this episode of Toradora is late by a date (it’s not me!) but it’s all good because Toradora is 4 episodes away from the end and it better have a nice ending. Will they squeeze another arc after this one or is the last one? Who knows! Read for the review~

Kemono No Souja Erin Episode 7: Good Bye.

Thursday, February 26th, 2009
Symbolism is abundant in this anime. Forgive me. This episode is so intense that I do not wish to spoil anyone with a real screen shot.

Minnie: Disappointed to see me blogging Kemono instead? I’m sorry. For a few days, Katt will be out of town. I am not allowed to reveal the details as to where she has gone to since it’s none of my business (don’t worry, she’s not doing any illegal, at least I hope not… her friends are there). The last episode of Kemono is an emotional one and it really pulls at my heartstrings. What will happen to Erin now that her mother Soyon is gone? Read on to find out.

Akikan Episode 7: Kakeru+Chair=OTP.

What is this? Kitty Yell?

What is this? Kitty Yell?

Steve: I am going to stay focus today and get two review done in one day. I have no idea how Minnie or Koala get so many done in a day but it is quite exhausting I must say. I salute those two. Akikan episode this week is perverted as usual. It tickles me in the right places, I hate to say. Please enjoy my straight out review for this week…

Asu No Yoichi Episode 7: Yoichi Gets Some. A Lot Of It.

Wednesday, February 25th, 2009
Finally. The Kagome-centric episode is here.

Finally. The Kagome-centric episode is here.

Steve: Here is my Asu No Yoichi review! I am a little late this review. I am very busy this week thanks to a lot of tests popping up before Spring Break. I will try to make most of my free time for the blog. Last week, I am behind in everything. I will try to do not do that again. Minnie and Garrick depend on me for the harem/weird anime and I will not let them done. What is up with Yoichi? More harem goodness!

Tales of the Abyss 20: Showing pity for your enemy is insulting

Tuesday, February 24th, 2009
Though the title probably fits this guy more

However, showing pity for this guy is insulting to the world.

Episode 20: Forest Grave Markers

Miken: I’m here once again to cover for Angel, who has computer problems. I hope you all can deal with more me while we wait for her situation to be solved. Still, posting while I time the episode…feels really wierd. I actually don’t “watch” the episode until I finish the timing when check to see if all the lines flow well with the animation, so I had to go back and check if I got the locations right afterwards.  It was pretty good luck getting the translation at this time too…I kinda resolved myself to not use the gg subs of Tales of the Abyss, and using raws might have been confusing. (I also found out that Aegisub has a screenshot function now too) (more…)

Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou Episode 8: The lake house with an old lady and mermaid

Tuesday, February 24th, 2009
Natsume helps everyone. Even those who loathe him.

Natsume helps everyone. Even those who loathe him.

Katt: It looks like there won’t be any more reviews from me this week, as I will be very busy getting ready for the trip I am leaving for on Wednesday. Before I leave, though, I am so happy that I will get the chance to write a review for this Natsume episode! I don’t know if I am just being over-emotional or what, but this episode tugged at all the right heartstrings, and let me tell you how… (more…)

Kurokami Episode 7: Sweet little sister, crazy big brother

Monday, February 23rd, 2009
Who's that dead person in Kuro's arms?

Time for a mandatory tragic past.

Katt: I know what you’re thinking; “You’re not Angel!” It’s true, it’s true. It’s just little ol’ Katt here, taking Angel’s place for the Kurokami review this week since Angel is having computer problems. There was no entry written for Kurokami last week, so I’ll just sum up the main point of development very very briefly: Keita is a substitute, not a master root. This means that he is weaker than his doppleliners, and thus Kuro is weaker than she would be had she made a contract with a master root. Also, when a substitute lends their power to a Mototsumitama, they will age faster and thus die faster. Summed up even more briefly? If Keita continues as Kuro’s contractee, he will die sooner than later. But in order to break a contract, one of them would have to die. Dramatic? I think so.
