ToraDora Episode 22: “As I Thought, Being With Taiga is The Best”
Toradora is coming to an end! NOOO!!
Minnie: A pretty weak week for us since a couple of our members are busy/gone. Koala aka Garrick and Ric are the major ones that will hopefully be back by the weekend. If not, they’ll be moved to the inactive list like Raccoon aka Taan until further notice. On the other hand, there’s ToraDora and I can’t wait to see this episode. Semi-sunny day today. Hurray~

First Impression: A pretty much pointless episode except it develops Ryuuji’s feelings further. Will Minorin go back in the running? Ami is already out a while ago.
95% chance of a Taiga/Ryuuji end. ^^
Message to Shippers: Grow up. I don’t want to read any more bitching about the show Toradora because your favorite ship didn’t happen. That’s just childish to an extreme. As an Ami/Ryuuji, I am disappointed in the rest of you guys who are doing this. This anime is called ToraDora for a reason- a story about how Taiga and Ryuuji will eventually get together. Ami and Minorin are there to add to the cast list and the story, not as real possibilities for Ryuuji.
Actually, it’s like Hakushaku again. Kelpie and Raven never stand a chance against the destined pairing of Lydia/Edgar. There’s no point in cursing the anime out for going the ‘cliche route’. The other routes never existed. But does this mean I will stop supporting Ami/Ryuuji? Hell no. I don’t care if it’s canon or not because if I like a pairing, I like it. If I support a pairing, I will support it even if it doesn’t become canon. Who cares right? Why hate an anime for it? Tai/Sora from Digimon anyone? Who cares if they never become canon. I still love the pairing and support it to this day. So yeah. That’s my rant. Thanks for reading. XD Oh and lastly, go Taiga/Ryuuji canon! You guys are meant to be! I just don’t support you guys as much as Ami/Ryuuji which I had no doubt from episode 5 will not happen anyways. ^^
Quick Summary: For the summary, there’s not really much to say. Taiga’s mother picks her up after the incident. We get a hilarious scene of Ryuuji screaming her name out in class. Minorin works at this food shop where Ryuuji and his two friends go to eat. Then, sometime later, Ami is in a bad mood and has this disastrous conversation with Minorin. There are bits of the episode dedicated to what Ryuuji will do after high school and his mother supporting him by taking on another part-time job. As for Taiga, she arrives at the end and believes that everything that happen on Ryuuji’s back is a dream. Nice eh? That’s all I guess. Nothing much about this episode but I can’t wait for the next one!

Wait, that was all?! Nothing much happened after the confession incident?! This is an outrage. I was actually looking forward to watching this episode tonight. But oh well, I guess it’s not half as bad considering the things to look forward to (Partial Fillers FTW!). I still can’t believe Toradora is still able to pull a fast one, if you put the fact that it’s about to end in mind.
As for bitching failed shippers, well…you can’t avoid them. I’m pretty sure most people out there are aware that Toradora means TaigaxRyuuji ship PWNS everything else. But the fact that people still consider impossible possibilities is proof enough that whoever made Toradora did a good job on cast and characters.
I myself am a victim of this charm; though I should know better than to think of any other ship other than TaigaxRyuji, somehow I’m still clinging on Minorin’s ship T_T.

The episode is not bad but like you, I look forward to this episode for the same reasons and didn’t get it. Sigh.
You’re right. They’re everywhere. I don’t mind people shipping what they want and I think the author is brilliant for setting all this up, but it gets to me when people call an anime ‘horrible’ if their shipping doesn’t work out in the end. That just makes me furious… I hope you understand that. XD
It’s okay, 7. Garrick is the same. As for me, if the anime ends with Taiga/Ryuuji, I want it to be done right. That’s all. And if it ends up with Ami/Ryuuji or Minorin/Ryuuji (5% chance), it better be done right too. That’s all I ask for. ^^

I don’t really know now what is Minorin’s plan now that she said something to Ami…
Anyway, I don’t care now to any of the side characters!!! Hahaha, I want to see now how the story would finally end.~
