Oni:

Well, you have awaited for a sexy solo review and you have it right here! This is my debut as a main writer but since I have blogged before, I don’t think there’s any difference right? D: So let’s begin with this super adorable- sexy show that everyone’s just fangasming about.

The episode begins with Yui and her best friend (…what was her name?) talking about the light club band. Her friend is really happy that she gets into something since all her life Yui has been well..careless?

After the horrible op, we see the girls reunited in their super cute tea table, eating wonderful and delicious desserts (enough! I make this series sound more gay than it actually is) and Yui introducing each of the light music club members. Starting with Mio-Chan, tall, elegant, sexy and cool she plays the bass because she doesn’t like to be the center of attention.

KA-BLOEWY!!!!!!!!!!

KA-BLOEWY!!!!!!!!!!

Keeping on with the members we see Mugi-Chan, a cute fluffly girl who plays piano since she was 4 years-old so she really rocks with the keyboard. Coming from a rich family, she has won various competitions thanks for to her pianist abilities and almost all of the club’s equipment comes from her house (…that’s really low)

And those eyebrows are other-wordly...

And last and least (for me at least) we see Ritsu-Chan, the de-facto leader of the group. She is quiet energetic and annoying and her instrument are the drums due that she hates moving her fingers (how will she do with her future husband then?) However, even though this club sounds perfect there is a single problem…Yui forgot that she will play the guitar (stupid Yui D:) because she thinks that this is just a tea-club. After some Mio cuteness scene where she tells Yui’s name and makes Yui lesbian (not really but she mentions she is cute and yes she is) they decide that they should buy a middle-quality, 50000 yen worth guitar this weekend.

In her home, Yui takes out her miserable pocket money and sees that she has well…not a lot of money. Her sister arrives and Yui explains her current situation, after discussing how they should get money, we see how the youngest has the brains out of the two as she had the idea to ask a advance of the pocket money Yui will eventually receive. The next day we see 3 out of the 4 wonder girls awaiting for the last wonder girl (Yui) outside of whatever building. Yui arrives and crashes with a random man and gets distracted with a puppy (so…cute <3) So after a very short discussion about money, the girls decide to have some old-shopping mall fun by eating ice cream, playing with machines, etc, and later go to buy their instrument (after some Mio reminding)

In the instrument shop, Yui sees a guitar she think its quiet cute, however its twice her current money. Mugi asks if she really wants that guitar and Yui nods (how can you say no to her :3?) and suddenly, some pointless flashbacks about instruments occurs. Mio actually put a lot of thought into choosing her bass, after days and days of staring she swallowed her shyness and asked for the guitar. While Ritsu annoyed and annoyed the poor seller into lowering the drum’s price.

This poor man doesn't deserve this D:

Of course, been the rich girl she is, Mugi doesn’t know about bargains and finds it admirable (urr) Ritsu notices Yui’s sad face ( :[ ) and decides that for Yui's sake, they should buy that guitar!! Next day, Yui tells her friend about her current plans (not important!)

In the light-music club, the girls are deciding what part-time job they should get ,however, thanks to Mio's shyness things get a little tough in choosing the right job. Mio decided to overcome her fears and work for the sake of the club. Just then, Ritsu finds a very cool job TRAFFIC EXAMINATION!

Remember that can be a little tough for Yui

Remember that can be a little tough for Yui

Next day, Yui’s sister prepares lunch for everyone at the club (how cute) and the club goes to the street to work in the examination thingy. Yui and Ritsu (who has displayed that she isn’t that bright either) play a little counting contest with those machines. Mugi and Yui come to work first after having some tea picnic. Mugi seems to be perfect while Yui is tired and lazy ( :[ ) Meanwhile Ritsu sees a sweepstakes for a guitar at a magazine. Changing turns, Ritsu and Mio count cars passing by. Ritsu clowns around and after a while they eat sweets again.

After another hard day of work, the girls receive their pay and Yui decided that she will buy  a guitar she can afford in order to practice immediately and help out the band.

Aww... :3

Aww... :3

They return to the music shop and Yui sees the guitar she wants. Seeing how much she wants it, the girls decide they should look for another job but not before Mugi decides that she shall bargain! Mugi goes and asks for a lower price and the assistant immediatley recognizes her as the president’s daughter (PLOT TWIST) and thanks to that status she is able to get the guitar for 50000. Now with a  new guitar, Yui feels totally like a musician (yush) Now with the band complete and ready to go (practice pratice!) the girls will try to become awesome enough to perform at Budokan before they graduate (sounds hard) GO GIRLS GO!!

My opinion: This show is adorable, it is! I love it and alot of people love it too, I want to see how Yui matures even more and actually becomes a good guitarrist (because now she sucks) and lets see if the girls will really go to Budokan! Sorry I don’t have a very WHOA opinion about it but I think its good, the animation, the drawings and all. I just wish Yui was a little more realistic and less stupid…AND they should change the horrible, horrible opening.
