Chrome Shelled Regios Episode 24 FINALE: Leerin/Layfon Letter End Finish~
Look! Even Leerin is happy at getting the last scene with Layfon~
Minnie: I’ve been waiting for Regios all day and I couldn’t blog it immediately because I had to finish up my fictional chapter for my personal blog, Hohiho. But now that I am done with my chapter, I need to blog Regios and Eden of the East before I start my next chapter. It’s an exciting chapter next so if I’m gone for a couple of days, you guys know why. It’s pretty hard juggling being a blogger and writer after all, but I manage most of the time. This summer, I can’t wait for SZS. Did I mention this in every one of my post? Oops. Anyways, let’s see what Layfon and harem are doing…
Thoughts: I am very disappointed with this last episode because the fighting seems so… short and cliche. Dumb too. I mean what is with the 1-hit KO? Is this supposed to be the last episode or what? Where is my insane fighting scenes? 
Other than that, there’s a lot of weird things going on this episode. One, Saya is the mastermind behind the whole thing? I don’t even know who she is! Also, the romance is too open-ended, though I can debate that it’s closer to Leerin than anyone else but still… what more to say but… SECOND SEASON. Sigh.
Fangirling:
As much as I hate her and find her annoying, somehow Shante got the best deal out of the last episode. Sure, she’s still as annoying as hell but at least, she gets to end up with her Goro in my opinion. I can’t see it any other way. Goro did things just for her and vice versa. They’re a perfect couple and they deserve each other by the end. I’m happy for them. I really am!
I love this shot because the smile on Felli’s face is priceless. I also love her role in the last episode a lot. She’s really helpful to Layfon, proving why she’s needed in the group. She’s also very pretty this entire episode. She might not end up with Layfon or even have a remote chance, but I love her. Felli will always be my favorite character from Regios. There’s no doubt about it.
I don’t know what the heck they did to him but he was so cool and sarcastic before! Why did they throw that all away to make him psycho and stupid? Power? Is it really that much to change him drastically in a short period of time? Sigh. I also didn’t like the whole 1-hit KO thing I talk about earlier… how lame!

Oh my. Even Leerin is surprised at Layfon’s embrace. She’s blushing! How cute. I know that the episode doesn’t end with Leerin and Layfon but I can’t help but squeal at my spunky girl jumping far into the lead for Layfon’s heart after this moment <3 Layfon initiated it too because he’s so worried about her! It’s love I tell you! And let’s not forget. They exchanged a kiss in the first episode and then a kiss later on. 
Bad bad bad. This came out of nowhere! Where did Layfon learn the ability to fuse weapons? How the hell can he fly on that weapon surfboard style? I don’t like this. It just seems like a plot device to me. Sigh. I didn’t like that. Sure, it looked cool but how cliche. Regios, why did you go back to being cliche again?
Sharnid/Harley END. There. I said it. Also, what is the point of Harley throughout this anime? I mean I get what he does but he didn’t even get a backstory like Sharnid! What the heck!
CUUUUUUTE! <3 Though I musy say… obsessed much Mei?
Leerin aka Layfon’s girlfriend needs to pray for Layfon’s safety. As a Leerin/Layfon fan, I will fangirl and go crazy and say that this is the exact reason why Layfon made it out alive, unscratched! Go Leerin~
This part=no understand. This whole episode had a ton of moments like this…
To end the episode before the credits start rolling, we get the classic Felli humor scene to end it all. Layfon’s screaming is worth it though. =3 I know the chances of Felli ending up with Layfon is slim to none now (though still higher than Mei) but I can’t help but smile at this scene. She gets the very last scene with him after all if you guys don’t count the credits. As for me, I do. Therefore… Leerin/Layfon Letter END! ^__________^ Open romance but… this is the best I can get from an anime centered around action more than romance.
Too many loose ends and unanswered questions though. If there’s no Season 2, this is really bad. XD Hopefully, there’ll be an announcement about Season 2 so I don’t have to worry about this… Sigh. Overall, good but clumsy anime. I enjoy blogging it though! I don’t regret that at all.

I hope Leerin turns into a mutant eye.

Ignasis is the big boss of regios, who is after Saya. Saya´s body lies in Grendan, and her soul is in Leerin´s right eye.
And the bullet guy from the short engrish clips (called Ailen) used to have a power to protect Saya. Overusing it turned him in a giant mutant all-owerfull eye. Coincidentally, that power was handed down to Leerin, as to guard automatically Saya´s soul. In the 13th novel, Leerin stars to mutate into the big eye. Before that she turn´s down Leyfon.
Dixerio, aka Dick is on a solo quest for revenge against ignasis. Don´t mind him.
To that date, the probability of LeerinxFonfon end is slim as FellixFonfon
Pd= Oh, even with the fangirl stuff all over the place, i liked your coverture of Regios. Thanks for that, not many people give the time to this series. I covered it complety in my blog, in spanish.

No way Leerin will succumb to a tragic fate. Being so close to the hero of the story, it would be a complete failure if he let her sacrifice herself. The tragic love story happened already to Saya and Ailen, so history won’t repeat itself (doesn’t matter if their pairing turns romantic or not, their bond is strong and their destiny is probably connected already).
Of course I could be wrong, but I don’t think the author share your hate for Leerin so there’s a good chance she’ll have a happy ending XD

Actually i don´t hate Leerin. Felli is >, if she were not around i´l probably ship the childhood friend happy end.
And as much bad as it sem, turning mutant might boost the L x L. You know, love power overcomes all ? Something like that.

The spoilers seem to indicate the Chrome Shelled Regios is going in a rather dumb direction, even in the novels.
I’m thinking that in the end, there will be good pairing for Layfon. I think that generally if there’s no clear pairing at this point, there will never be a pairing happening at all, at least I can’t think of one offhand.
Also Saya is the loli girl in the engrish parts.

Hi everyone, I’ve watched Chrome Shelled Regios. I love the story and I hope there is a second season because I was unsatisfied with the ending…unclear… moreover I want a happy LeerinXLayfon ending.:D (I hope) I’m LeerinX Layfon fan!LoLs!:D

Saya is obviously the key to this whole thing, from the engrish parts it seems shes a telekenetic user. If Leerin turns Leyfon down shortly before she starts to turn into a mutant, and thats where the novels stop, then id guess leyfon will have to somehow save leerins life, and im sure if he came onto her previously his feelings are still there, and having just have had her life saved from a scary turning into a giant eye filled death, she may rethink her previous rejection towards him. Would that not be where thats heading? Ok then if if wrong Leerin either dies to sacrifice herself so leyfon or the heavens blades can kill the eye thing, but if leerin dies so does sayas soul, so thats unlikely. Or, the eye wins and everyone dies, i hope that doesnt happen. I have a few questions though, one time when it cut to the engrish parts, it all of a sudden cut to the 17th platoon in they’re rest room i believe it was before a match, and Sharnid put a coin into the TV to get it going again. Also in the Zero Dimension when Nina met Dick for the first time (what the heck was going on there) Saya and the Engrish gun scenese were on a giant TV there and he made the comment (this was translated into english) when nina asked what is this, he sayd “Its like a teaser for this world”
Why is Saya and her companion’s insane fight against the big eye/mouth man who consumed 30million people to create his city being played in the platoons rec-room on the TV like its some sort of TV Drama series.. that was Saya and the Engrish on the TV in that scene wasnt it? And even if it wasnt id still like to know why Saya is only seen alive on television sets. Even in Zero Dimension
