Hatsukoi Limited Episode 12 FINALE: Perfect Ending… Except The Misaki Thing~
Who will Ayumi choose?
Minnie: You know what the funny thing is? There has only been a few anime that has been completed at HSA thus far for this Spring Season and all of them belong to me. Is it just me or am I the one with all the finished anime before anyone else? Coincidence? Lucky chance? I was praying that Hatsukoi’s last episode will come out before Anime Expo and it did so here I am with your most likely last blog entry before I go off to that lovely convention in a few more days. Of course, I’ll write posts about it. 
Now, for Hatsukoi Limited!
Thoughts: JC Staff went all out in this final episode. Man! The animation was incredible from beginning to end. The colors… the lighting… the music too… everything was done perfectly. The confession scenes were done incredibly. The voice acting was incredible. I am really impressed with this last episode. It’s funny and cute at the same time. The only down side is them completely destroying the Arihara/Misaki pairing. 
They totally tore it apart, throw away some pieces, and glues together pieces of it. They got a SINGLE scene in the end. Sigh. What was the problem making this thirteen episode instead? In any case, despite them ruining my favorite couple in the whole manga/anime, well-done ending is well-done! ^.^
In-Depth Fangirling:
While the boys are dying out in the park, the girls are enjoying themselves at a hotel with a hotspring and everything. Besides, who needs to care about those filthy boys when you can see how big Kei’s breasts are? I didn’t include the fanservice shot because well, let’s say, I am against seeing it. XDDDDDDDDDDDDDD Go Ayumi+Koyoi though~

See? Evil and cute!! Time to glomp poor Kei! And of course, the ever mature and wise Nao simply sits to the side and watches =3
Hm… this is what I call… lack of perserverance. XD Then again, I don’t want to be the poor sucker who had to live through 0 candy bars while my friends ate the rest… I think Sogabe got the better end of the deal on this one. Don’t you guys think so too?
One of the biggest disappointments in regards to the manga ending early: Lack of Misao! He is such an awesome character but of course, due to lack of time, he gets less and less screen time… Here is an adorable scene of him trying to suck up to Yuuji. Hehe~ I love Misao!
Of course, since I’m a Yuuji fangirl, I need to throw in a picture of him. =3 But yeah, Yuuji is sick and weird but I love him so much since he stands out from the rest of the males in this manga. ^_^ Yuuji <3 <3 <3 You hot-tempered, noisy bastard~ Pay attention to Misaki why don’t you? You lucky you! =3
I really love this bicycling scene a lot. I love the music… the talks between the boys… and the graphics. Such perfection. I really like how emotional this scene is. It’s such a solid build up to the beach shot. I don’t know why but I actually like Kusuda’s narration the most out of this entire anime. There’s just something about it that gets to me. I guess it’s because besides Dobashi’s boy toy, the rest of the episodes are through the girls’ perspective so this one becomes more meaningful and standout-ish?
These sketch scenes… they’re so beautiful… so very pretty… I’m speechless <3

This scene… this powerful scene proves that… reading the manga is not enough. Once you see a scene like this animated, you know why manga is simply not enough at times. Scenes like this are meant to be animated. I was almost tearful when I watch this part. It’s breathtaking…
Of course, what is Hatsukoi without some humor right? Koyoi is stuck with the luggage while the other three girls run after the boys! They see the girls and run? Nice. XD I guess it is pretty embarrassing when they all heard about each boy’s respective crushes…
I know I always make fun of Sogabe for his lack of athletic abilities and for the last time…
Oh Sogabe! You fail at running! AGAIN! Hehehe~ He’s funny. He might not be my favorite character but he’s still funny! Landing in the sand and telling the other two to go on without him… Hehe. The three stooches~ One is down!
Thankfully, for Sogabe, understanding Nao is here to help him =3
Even though Nao now knows that Sogabe likes her, she doesn’t reject him and simply tells him that he also has some good qualities about him that Renji (her crush) doesn’t have. That’s really nice of you Nao, except I’m not sure of these good qualities you talk about. XD Joking. In any case, Sogabe seems even more smitten than ever. Even though I don’t support these two as much as the others, I still want a good ending for both of them, whether together or not.
This scene is significant for me because well, it’s one of the few scenes where I actually like Ayumi by herself. I dislike her so much that the only times I like her is with Koyoi and that one kicking scene in episode 1. She doesn’t deserve to have the anime/manga end with her but… I’ll stop hating. This scene with Ayumi and Mamoru is awesome.

Remember Kei’s convo about having more confidence in her boobs for Kusuda…? Well… Haha.
They’re soooooooooooooo cute together!! *glomps them both* Lying on the beach under the sun! How romantic~ Cute!
Finally! The dere dere part of her tsundere is here! It’s here! It’s finally here! Everyone cheer for the beautiful and passionate conclusion of Kei/Kusuda! Sure, they didn’t kiss or more but this is fine for me! Such cuteness~ It sucks that my own Rin-chan from GG is too tsundere to even do this~ But alas, I am very happy with this conclusion and to end it, here is the ultimate Kei quote:
“And what of it? If you’re good on the inside, then looks don’t matter!” -Kei
The siblings are reunited and we get to see some Koyoi/Bessho love <3 I hate to admit it but I’m a fan of this pairing. XD It’s too cute and innocent. =3 But yeah, such a happy moment~
ABOUT TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO YUUJI! Forget her~! >cruel person< Ayumi doesn’t even care though. Oh well…
Three-some end. I mean, brotherly friendship-like end for Mamoru, Sogabe, and Kusuda~

Mature Yuuji ftw~ It is ABOUT time that you move on from that annoying sister to hot, sexy Misaki~ Too bad it’s the last episode of the anime or we get to see the beautiful development between those two T__T
YAY for this single scene of the only really canon couple of the series~ Another quote that made me all mushy on the inside:
“If that ever happens to you… I don’t care where you go, I wouldn’t be able to stand it.” -Dobashi
Now, for the decision making time for Ayumi… we get to see Kei’s response first and of course, it demonstrates how far she has gotten since the first episode. I must admit I didn’t like her at first because well, she’s shallow. However, she is the one with the most character development in this whole anime so props to her on that. I love Kei now even though I didn’t in the beginning. This line is her trademark from now on and I’m glad for it.
I hate this scene… they destroy that beautiful ending chapter for these two and throw in THIS?!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m sorry but the whole Yuuji screaming out every question from what she ate for breakfast to what type of hobbies she’s into to Misaki beats this ANY DAY! That is a lot more like the Yuuji I know and love- straightforward and silly. This Yuuji is just… boring. I’m disappointed… very very very disappointed.
Guess who Ayumi picks in the end? NO ONE! Yeah, yeah, Ayumi, you just can’t see how great of a guy Misao is and that Mamoru is similar to all shoujo male leads out there… But in any case, even though I hate her decision, it is a bit romantic and cute and innocent and of course, her ending lines are total win. Hehe. Nice end to a nice show. Now, for the rest of what everyone is doing~
In conclusion, a simple and wrap-up ending for everyone but my favorite pairing in the whole anime, but it’s okay. Chances are there’ll be an OVA or something, though I’m pretty sure it will be about Kei’s sister or that one girl who didn’t wear her underwear instead… not my Misaki/Yuuji… T___T
