Skip Beat Chapter 142: Valentine’s Joker~ Shou, Jealous Much?

Because mad/jealous Shou is so much win, I only have pictures of him being his usual self to Kyoko. Is that okay? It’s not like I betrayed Kyoko/Ren or anything… but I can’t help but smile whenever Shou overreacts like this. 
First of all, I like to mention that it is about time Ren enters the scene again. He seems a lot more composed than the last time we saw him. It is now one day before Valentine’s Day and yet, Ren seems okay… or is he?
Of course, his manager aka lovable Kyoko/Ren fanboy has to remind Ren that his time with Kyoko will be ending soon since Dark Moon set is ending soon too. Despite this, Ren is not shaken at all in the least until he sees Kyoko nearby of course.
Out of all the things for Kyoko to drop at that time, she has to fumble around with chocolate with the word ‘hate’ all over them. She manages to grab the wrapped chocolate in time before Ren and his manager see it. That’s what she believes of course and I’m like uh oh Kyoko.
There you go Kyoko. Right after, Ren starts pulling off his gentlemanly smile and starts acting cruel towards her like he did in the beginning. Oh Ren! Your jealousy takes such an interesting form every time! Since Kyoko knows this too well, she manages to run away with her pride still in tact.
Bad news? Both the manager and Ren saw that chocolate. It’s obvious because well, Ren had to take some seconds to compose himself while the manager begins to wonder whether Kyoko is really giving chocolate to Shou or not.
Like I said already, even though I am a Ren/Kyoko fan, I can’t help but think of the possibilities of the other pairings such as Shou/Kyoko. They are always so interesting together. That is something I cannot deny. It’s destiny. They’re meant to meet over and over again. But still, why must Kyoko meet him now after she thinks about Reino and her other self as his hostage?
More than that? How did they meet? They bump into each other! What are the chances of that happening? Your luck is running out Kyoko… your luck is running out…
More than that, since Shou knows you so well, he notices that box you’re holding and he knows for sure it’s chocolate because come on, it’s him who’s been calling you and wondering whether he should still ask for chocolate from you. <3
I love how Ren is jealous cause he thinks it’s Shou and Shou is jealous cause he thinks Kyoko and Reino are being lovey dovey. The mental images that come out of Shou’s head sometimes amuse me to death. I love that Kyoko/Reino one from last chapter and I especially love the chocolate one from this chapter!
Shou’s a bastard like always but he’s a lovable bastard and I am beginning to like him even more. He’s a misunderstood character really but it still doesn’t give him the right to try to be with Kyoko again. His jealousy always makes me laugh though. So awesome. This time, he even throws the chocolate away! Kyoko’s in trouble now because of selfish Shou!
The thing is though… the chapter ends on an odd cliffhanger. Of course, Kyoko is going to deny her and Reino to Shou but how exactly is she going to do it? Will she just blurt it out? Will Shou believe her? I doubt he’ll reveal that he’s been stalking her on the phone. The biggest question of all is… will Ren end up in this mess? Since it’s Skip Beat, most likely. Let’s just see how next chapter okay? Confrontation between Ren, Shou, and Reino please!

You’re right… the chapter ends at a really odd position. I mean, I suppose it might be a good cliffhanger if there are any Kyoko-Shou shippers out there, but… seriously, what are the chances of anyone being interested (much) in those two getting together?
I want to see Ren’s reaction, darnit. Does he think that maybe those chocolates might be for him, by any chance? (No one can predict how Kyoko would react, after all… and Ren does have the impression that Kyoko is half-terrified to death of him sometimes)
On another note, with the chocolates destroyed, does that mean Kyoko will have to mix another batch? And will she maybe expand her recipient list a bit the second time around? Or alternatively, if she doesn’t make another batch… where’s Ren or Shou going to be when Reino shows up to confront Kyoko?

All good questions dizzcity and I’m sad that I get to them so late.
I really want to know too and I am hoping the chapter I will be blogging soon will answer some of those questions. And yes, I do know that moridin.
