This Summer 2009 Anime Season doesn’t look too exciting and it doesn’t give enough variety in anime to break down. However, this blog is all about fairness and when it comes to splitting the work evenly, we always manage to do it right before the season. This season is no exception. With the introduction of three new members to replace our two departing members from the anime blogging duties, how will this summer watermelon be divided this time? Yes, perfect. GATTAI! — should now be required. Theme song and cute dance sequence optional… but encouraged. On the dance part, though, let’s not have everyone use pom-poms. Caramelldansen definitely ok. However if still wearing your Mecha outfits, then I recommend the choreography worked out in that dance scene from Full Metal Panic!

Thanks, Steve — love returned! Hey, but wasn’t that a nice scene in FMP? And it fit in so nicely with Sergeant Major Mao’s character development.
Of course the M9 Armed Slave mecha is surely not the most fashionable choice for the upcoming tag team dance contest. The Arbelesque (and really anything equipped with lambda driver) would be excellent. Also I particularly recommend Jango from Burst Angel — loved his ‘hat’ and this might work out with a cane in the dance routine. Or cape?
My favorite choreography to recommend at the moment — since not *everyone* is doing Hare Hare Yukai from TMoSH — is from the Wondergirls “Tell Me” music video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vVHy0XoIN4&feature=channel_page. Kawaii.
