Sexy Kyon is sexy~

Minnie: Here’s the deal. I’m not the blogger for this anime. I wasn’t even really on the sign up list but since I’m watching it and the real bloggers can’t handle it right now, why not? However, please do not expect this to be thoughtful, meaningful, debateable, etc, of any kind. People who have been following my entry know exactly what I mean! I like to have fun with my posts and that’s what you all will get~ If you want to discuss about the deeper meaning of this episode though, please comment! Comments are welcome and wonderful~ Please do!

The Mandatory Minnie Fangirl Section for This Episode:

Okay. First, a rant. I am sick of all the Mikuru/Kyon vs Yuki/Kyon vs Haruhi/Kyon vs Itsuki/Kyon wars. All of those suck. I’m staying out of them. This is the real OTP of Haruhi Suzumiya and I have the evidence to prove it! Here:

mikurukoizumi1mikurukoizumi2mikurukoizumi3mikurukoizumi4

mikuruzoikumiconclusion

When your shipping goggles are on as tightly as mine, you catch every little thing for your OTP. :P All hail the almight Mikuru/Itsuki pairing! The secret canon pairing of the whole anime!!! ^_______^ Woot.

Note: In all seriousness, I’m a Kyon/Haruhi fan but Mikuru/Itsuki is one of my most guilty pleasure crack pairings. I actually love it more than Kyon/Haruhi thanks to the possibilities. XD But I know there’s a lot of evidence for all Kyon pairings this episode so all shippers enjoy! ^.^ I hope my screen shots didn’t offend anyone. XD Oh, did I mention that Itsuki is really hot this episode? =3

The Minnie Serious Thoughts Section on this Episode:

Why the hell are you putting the real thoughts after your fangirling, Minnie?!

Why the hell are you putting the real thoughts after your fangirling, Minnie?!

-Haruhi is as fabulous as ever. Not wanting summer to end? Score.

-The crazy ass number Yuki gave us… is mind boggling.

-Kyon/Itsuki pairing fanservice is as obvious and funny as ever. Sadly, the yaoi fangirls take it seriously. No offense.

-Last but not least, my favorite scene in the whole anime is when Itsuki jokingly says he will tell Haruhi that he loves her. The way they animate Itsuki made my heart aflutter. Seriously, after such a beautiful scene, he is in my good books.

-That’s all boys and girls. Expect a serious review next week! Minnie is off to write her chapter now~

Minnie’s Overall Rating for Episode: 10/10

Minnie’s Anticipation for Next Episode: 8/10

hhdcnlshgksnxhuzh OH MY GOD I’m such a ItsukixMikuru crack shipper as well!!! Way back ago since episode 00 (the film episode) and that nailed it when they were about to kiss XD.

Itsuki is love~. He’s so fabulous and hawtt~ His outfit choices just made him hotter~.

  2. rosewisteria Minnie says:

OMG high five kanzeon! I loved them too since then! Yay~ I’m not the only Itsuki/Mikuru crack shipper around here!

I love Itsuki :) His outfit choices are amazing this episode huh? I’ll keep an eye out for him in the future. Thanks for your comment!

  3. RP RP says:

I support the Koizumi x Mikuru pairing wholeheartedly! It also cracks me up every time he invades Kyon’s personal space. I wonder if he knows how much it annoys Kyon and does it anyway.

  5. Miken Miken says:

    KoizumixMikuru’s one of my favorite crack pairings too. XD;;

  6. Honoo Honoo says:

The best OTP would be from Tanigawa Nagaru’s own words. Not this. :D

Oh well, pairing wars were never my kind of thing, so yeah.

  7. Faded Love Faded Love says:

I would just like to note: if we watch this episode 15498 times, then it would only take about 265 days.

  8. rosewisteria Minnie says:

I’m glad to see there are other Mikuru/Koizumi fans out there (RP and Miken)! Yay~ I’m not the only crazy one who sense some chemistry there. :P Koizumi is of course doing that on purpose or at least KyoAni or Nagaru are…

Of course, Nagaru decides the actual canon pairings but this is my OTP, Honoo. XD Pairing wars are not fun. :( Though, I guess it might be fun to read…?

Faded Love: My brain hurts. :( I believe you though! That number= @_@ to me. XD

  9. Faded Love Faded Love says:

Here we are on the most important topic of OTP… and I’m worried about whether, as the episode concludes, are we actually at loop number 15499??? And does it matter!?! I mean…. uh…. well probably no. ^.^

But maybe this somehow provides enough time for Haruhi’s wish to make it out to the Tanabata gods? And perhaps the cycle only breaks once her wish is granted? Hmmmmm…

  10. rosewisteria Minnie says:

Lmao Faded Love! I’m pretty sure a lot of Haruhists will break their TVs if this continues after a third episode. XD I would be laughing though. :P Because it’s so amusing. As for the cycle ending, wouldn’t it be grand if the only way to break it is exactly what Itsuki suggested? XD

  11. Faded Love Faded Love says:

Minnie, yes! Exactly what I’m hoping for: 1.) that Kyon follows Itsuki’s advice and 2.) that this is precisely what Haruhi was truly wishing for on Tanabata.

What must be preventing this is Kyon’s lack of understanding of his own feelings. And he may be worried that Haruhi would reflexively achieve some momentary frisson and slap him into another dimension — perhaps rendering his component molecules and entropically leveling his life energy into an unintended but final null state. Oh. That might dampen the impulse of any young man. So, yeah Itsuki, :easy for you to say” is probably what he’s thinking. ^_^

  12. Koala Garrick says:

Wait, what? Mad Haruhiists about a 4th Endless 8 episode? I’m happy the second season was aired at all.

I’m sure we’re fine with whatever as of this point.

  13. Steve Steve says:

This post made my day, Minnie. Itsuki/Mikuru is a wonderful crack pairing.

I love the camera angel when Itsuki told Kyon that he would tell Haruhi the I love you thing. They purposely didn’t show Kyon’s face for a reason and I love that. I can’t wait for the next episode. The directing in this episode was masterful, especially the ending.

  14. Faded Love Faded Love says:

Well perhaps some of us are completely mad… /tick/ but but but but what I’m thinking thinking thinking. Not about that. Not not not… What’s on my mind is whether Yuki has a room at home with 15498 masks in it. /twitches/

Or… or does each mask disappear at the end of each loop?????? And then the money that she spent reappears in her purse? /rocks back and forth, murmuring/

Garrick, you’ve definitely got it right. We’re just so grateful there is a second season!

  15. itsuki is mine itsuki is mine says:

    sorry, itsuki is mine :3

and kyon has been getting so much fanservice latley D:

  16. [...] Kyon and the fabulousness of Itsuki seems to have gone way up in this episode. RP, Calawain, Orion, Minnie et al love the yaoi fan teasing and ‘your face is too close’ [...]

  17. Faded Love Faded Love says:

Not a pairing, and I guess *completely* off topic, but did you see the recochoku.jp survey, ranking anime characters as a marriage partner? The only TMoHS character in the top ten… can you guess? Nagato Yuki!

You see? Men are attracted to brainy women. Even when they are alien data constructs!
