But that's just me. There's a metroid manga out there somewhere, but I haven't read it yet. Riviera is really a visual novel w/ rpg elements, or something close to that, and as I said before, it's the destiny of most (popular enough) visual novels to become anime. Because there's the excitement of seeing how the animation team handles the various paths you can take in the game and the joy of seeing all those fantastic scenes happen in an animated format. I never get tired of replaying Chrono Trigger, so of course I'd be happy over a proper anime rendition of it. Some great ideas here. Watching the Valkyria Chronicles, I've been finding out more about the game -- something I wouldn't have known about otherwise.
