I was tryyying to post early! ^_^
Angel: Hey all, I was visiting my older brother during the 4th of July holiday. Now that I’m back, I want to finally review this awesome episode, even though I have to be brief. I have a curfew. :/

Well, Mr. Oz? Where exactly are you? – Cheshire Cat
As Cheshire attacks, Oz cannot help but continue smiling and delivering sarcastic remarks. Cheshire (who is still unbelievably adorable) wonders if Oz is physically present but mentally lost. However, Oz notices how Cheshire and Break see him the same way, and this comparison angers Cheshire. Before Cheshire can unleash another attack, Jack appears from a mirror behind and saves Oz.

Alice is like the sun to me. – Oz
Gil and Oz happily reunite but Jack soon approaches them for help. Jack wishes to save Alice, but only Oz can save her. Eagerly, Oz wants to help, so the two put their heads together. Jack asks what Alice is to Oz, who replies that Alice is like the “sun” to him; she is very radiant and is never afraid to show her emotion. Jack understands and teleports Oz away, which upsets Gil, to save Alice from her haunting memory before she loses herself forever.

Shall I teach you your place by carving it directly into your skin? – Break
Meanwhile, Cheshire experiences one of Break’s memories, which appears to depict a wounded Break surrounded by Sharon clones. Quite the fantasy, heh? However, these girls (referred to as mother and little sister?) are illusions, and suddenly, Break and Cheshire begin to battle. Being quite the badass, Break dodges Cheshire’s attacks and manages to slice of a kitty arm, yum. Then, Break opens his missing eye to summon his own chain, Mad Hatter.

He is Oz. Alice is B Rabbit. They cannot cut the chains which bind them. – Jack
In actuality, Oz is teleported to the scene of the tragedy of Sabrie. Oz is sent here because this memory was created by Alice because she was alive during the tragedy. Overall, the environment is a scorched, red hue and the air is tainted with the smell of dead bodies. A young boy in a white shirt appears, and as Oz follows him, he realizes that the boy is Vincent. The young Vincent cries that the tragedy isn’t his fault, as he supposedly did it all for Gil. Speaking of Gil, Jack wonders if Gil can recall the tragedy; however, Gil does not want to remember anything about the tragedy.. As if Gil’s life couldn’t suck more. So much trauma. ;o;

Oz. If you are going to stay by Alice’s side, I think you should now. – Jack
Slightly insane (no, really, jumping into a fiery pit is sane as compared to what other people do) and erratic, Vincent runs off and periodically vanishes. Oz continues to follow Vincent until he approaches a tall and desolate tower. Hearing Alice’s voice, Oz dashes up the stairs to finally reach the top, only see her dead body. Jack says that Alice was once human, but she was murdered by someone on the day of the tragedy.
Speculations and Comments
☆ So, Alice was indeed a human (maybe even a princess locked in a tower?), but I never imagined that she was a victim of the tragedy of Sabrie. I didn’t expect Vincent and Gil to be present during the tragedy either.. I think Oz did most of the speculating for us, as he pointed out that Alice/Gil/Vincent were plunged into the Abyss 100 years ago and have escaped. Thus, it’s not impossible to escape the inescapable then, lol.
☆ Who killed Alice? Who knows, but someone is obviously playing around with scissors too much! Damn kid. I suspect Vincent, as he’s the only alive weirdo running around during the tragedy. On the other hand, it would be simply too sad if Gil is responsible for her death.. o_o; Alas, I will never rule out the Will of the Abyss or the Baskervilles, though.
☆ When Oz noticed how Cheshire sees Oz the same way Break does, it pretty much foreshadows that Cheshire has Break’s eye. Solid.
☆ Jack is obviously a lot like Oz, so I now believe that they’re descendants of some sorts. For example, Jack pointed his head right at Gil’s gun just like Oz has done before. They don’t do that reckless stunt because they’re dumb or blonde (like I would
), but because they trust Gil (and Jack is acquainted with Gil as well). Now, when Jack fell from the tree in the beginning.. That kinda dropped a hint that he was a peeping tom, amirite? Those boys can’t control their hormones. :^D
☆ I just love how Oz’s smile gradually fades at the end when he sees Alice’s dead body. For Oz not to smile, it shows that he is really crushed by all of this..
Gosh, what an awesome episode (I’ve been dreaming about it for a week.. But a lot of other crap is on my mind). This episode smoothly tied and intertwined many plot elements while revealing, developing, and introducing more mysterious and we’re only halfway through! I’m savoring.. Every taste.. What.. Till next time, my lovelies~
Angel’s Overall Rating for Episode 14: 9.9/10 ekeke
Angel’s Anticipation Meter: 10/10

MILD SPOILERS
The problem I have with this episode is that they cut out Vincent’s original insane rampage. Instead of jumping into a fire, he goes around with scissors cutting out the dead people’s eyes and organs, muttering “It’s not my fault,” (without any mention of this him/her, although it could be tied in with the latest chapter.) So when the end of the episode rolls around and we have a glimpse of the murder weapon – i.e. the scissors – it doesn’t make sense and doesn’t imply that Vincent was the one who killed Alice, like the manga.
But yeah, main problem with me. They’re really toning down the horror elements – like yandere Oz (why didn’t Oz shoot the rabbit instead of Gil?! Why?!), Vincent’s lovely personality. D:
Anyway, good summary and nice guesses!
Yup, Like what shirachi mentioned earlier, lots of the manga’s best stuffs are cut.. (ah, I was waiting for Oz shooting down the bunny, his knee-kicking, the chocolate dagger, vince’s “Ohohohoho, nii-saaaaaaan <3333" and playing with the corpses, etc etc etc.) But whatever, things could be worse *cough*kuroshitsuji*cough* but at least, since poeple know that vince loves to cut up dolls, well, observant anime-fans should notice the hint, I guess <3 (and you're definitely one of them xD)
Next eppy: MUST-MAKE-OZ-GOES-CRAZY!!!!
In the next-episode-preview, [SPOILER] wasn’t Oz somehow mentioned to be responsible for Alice’s death?
Another reason why animies are cool.
Carnage.
Yes-part of reality.
Anyway Alice sure developed some sexy legs.
Her legs when she was human look so different.
Cool Break.
