It's an episode about an adorable, abandoned puppy!

Minnie: Wheee~ Episode 2 is out sooo fast after the raws! I guess a lot of fansub groups are deciding to pick it up because of how fabulous it is! As a huge fan of the manga and before the first episode even came out, I’m more than happy to have an early release! Yay for more Sawako~ I love you Sawako! And how funny is it that where I live, it’s pouring right now and so is the setting in Kimi ni Todoke?

Thoughts: Like the first episode, this episode made me teary too. I can’t help it. I’m a sucker for when people are nice to other people without any selfish thought in mind so that changing seat scene got to me even though I read it before. The relationship between Kazehaya and Sawako goes up a notch this episode. And omg, doggy~ This episode is just Sawako fabulousness to the max so sorry for my bias rating.

In-Depth Fangirling:

I remember this scene sooo well from the manga. It’s one of those scenes where I was like Sawako <3 Even though she knows she’ll be drenched in the rain once she gives up her umbrella to the poor abandoned dog by the riverbed. She’s such an awesome character and a nice one at that~ I love her sooo much. ^__^ Too bad the dog doesn’t feel the same way about her which is quite a shame…

Though Sawako does need to work on how to say hello to people… at least she’s working on it! Good girl~

Because whenever anyone is praying, it MUST be evil!! XD This reminds me of Nobuta from Nobuta wo Produce where they think she’s some shrine maiden ghost~ Hilarious. ^^;; But yeah, watch out, Sawako! Rumors are going to start on you if you don’t watch out~

<33333333333333 I love the Kazehaya/Sawako pairing soo much. ^___^ I love her admiration for him and I love how he’s the complete opposite of her and yet they compliment each other so well. ^.^ There’s no doubt that the two are meant to be together. <3 And she always notices him and vice versa~

The best thing about this scene is that Sawako is so sincere about it~ She’s not one of those crushy lovey dovey girls. Instead, she’s just happy simply to talk to him and have his forgiveness. There’s no ill intention or fakeness behind Sawako at all, even during lines like this that I hate from almost any other female character.

I love Sawako’s weird faces <3 Heck, I love everything about Sawako in general. XD But really, to have a girl be this happy over a thank you means she hasn’t received much in her life. It’s really sad and I pity Sawako a lot. She takes everything at face value and nothing for granted. >//<

Another awesome Kazehaya/Sawako moment!! It’s so cute <33 These two. I fangirl over them soooo much. <333 They somehow make themselves cute and each other cute at the same time. Kawaii~ Give her your love as well as your towel, Kazehaya~ We know she deserves it!

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww~ Another cute Sawako moment!! Go Sawako! <3 You rock! Be yourself and never take anything for granted! Love the small things in life too~

So far so good for Kazehaya. He can take this. Admiration is good in a relationship… improvement for both sides is another positive point in a relationship… But…

I think his chances with Sawako just went down the drain with this line alone. Sawako is so innocent and naive that I want to glomp her 10 times over. She means this in the best possible way and yet, that’s now what Kazehaya wants at all. Poor guy.

Awwwwwwwww <3 This proves it once and for all (since I know already from the manga) that Kazehaya has feelings for Sawako but he can’t admit it. He assumes that Sawako confessed to him about her feelings so he is more than happy/less shy about confessing his to her. Of course, Sawako didn’t get the message and neither of them are embarrassed about what happen with the other. Or at least, they didn’t show it to each other. Because soon we know that…

…That Kazehaya will be all shy and blushy about the whole incident. He misinterpreted what Sawako said and almost confessed his feelings for her. Since she didn’t know any better, she didn’t reject him which was quite a relief for him. But now, it looks like he’s more shaken up by the fact that he harbors such feeling for her. Believe me, shy Kazehaya is even better than refreshing Kazehaya… just wait for the newer episodes later?

Another positive trait about Sawako. She knows how to give thanks to people and she doesn’t expect them to know it’s her so she sneaks it on their desks instead. So cute <3 I hate it when people force thanks on you. This way, she is really thankful and not really forcing it on her new friends and Kazehaya…

OMG!!!!! Cute Kazehaya attack <3 He’s always like this around Sawako… so cute and shy~ I’m sick of overly assertive male and weak females when it comes to shoujo relationships so this one is such a breath of fresh air. Kazehaya is the shy, uncertain one while Sawako is the one who knows for sure she admires Kazehaya with all her heart except I guess she expresses it in a way that confuses him. XD

Aw. Look at that. The doggie is in love with Kazehaya <3 I guess it’s understandable that both people and animals would like the same person… since well we tend to cater to the same type of people? ^^;;

OMG! CUTE MOMENT ALERT!! ^___^ I’m such a fangirl~ If a boy I like did that, I’ll be like SQUEEE on the inside but of course I have to show my tsundere facade on the outside. But anyways, Kazehaya is being really cute here getting all close to his crush and being himself and stuff. <333333333333

Sawako… I hope you succeed because you deserve it ^_________________________^ Go Sawako! Woot woot~

OH WOW! Nice way to be subtle, Kazehaya~ I love him for this. Hehe. I like it when guys can just say it like this but at times, I like his shy moments too. I like shy guys too. They’re cute ^^ But seriously though. If it were me, I would have been like ‘does this boy like me or pretend to like me?’ but of course to Sawako, she has no idea what’s up. Oh poor Kazehaya. Will you ever get Sawako to notice you as more than an admirable figure? We’ll see.

I like it when Sawako’s hair is up like this~ Hurray! ^____^ As for her lines, she answers herself later on but I didn’t include that screen shot so here it is for all those who wants to know it since you guys didn’t pay enough attention to the episode: Kazehaya’s smile takes away the barrier/wall between them. I love the answer. It’s simple and sweet~

Why does that make me so sad and feel so pitiful for my sweet, dear Sawako that I absolutely adore like I do for Sanako from Wallflower? <3 No one should ever get used to rejection… not even my boss Koala who has the worst luck in the world! Please, Sawako, stay optimistic. Don’t be like Koala. And Koala if you’re reading this, take no offense to it <3 I still love you?

Oh no! A dirty rumor! What are you going to do Sawako?!

Be nice to them and try to change what they think of you of course. T___T Why are you so nice to these awful girls? You don’t need to tell them anything! You don’t need to defend yourself! You should just scream and curse them all to hell. T_T But then again, that’s not like you and your personality is why I really love you… so nevermind. I’ll curse them for you~ Muahahha.

Always the optimistic, cheerful one aren’t you Sawako? We’re really alike. I’m like this too <3 in real life of course. On the Internet, well let’s just say… I can be a yandere if I want to. But it doesn’t mean I don’t love you all to death ^^ Hehehehe~ 

Sawako has a perfectly valid reason to be self-conscious. It’s sad when everyone is only paying attention to you to avoid you later on… because of a bunch of stupid rumors that make no sense and are purely coincidential… You can find coincidences in almost anyone… really.

Wow… Sawako was only trying to help but they shot her down… just like that. Ugh. Sometimes, I can’t stand peer pressure and socialized environments like classrooms. Really. These people don’t deserve to breathe the same air as our beloved Sawako

I’m not going to comment a lot for these scenes because the episode speaks for itself <3 But another Kazehaya/Sawako moment! Whee~~~~~~~~

YAY FOR ANOTHER FRIEND MOMENT <3333333333 Yay for people who look past people’s appearances!

Well, this guy has another reason for sitting behind Sawako but it’s all good. XD He’ll learn how great of a person she is soon enough and then befriend her too because we all know characters don’t just appear for one scene and disappear forever… especially not in this kind of anime. ^^;;

It’s okie <3 Your friendship was seen by the classroom and your viewers <3 It’s the thought that counts.

YAY FOR THE COOKIE PARTY <33333333333333333 Gosh, my commentary is getting shorter and shorter now. It’s because I’m so tearful during these moments and nothing I say can beat what is actually said and done in the episode itself. I just want Sawako to be happy.

Scenes like this always means SOMETHING. Always. Why would they show a character staring after another character for no reason? I can’t wait for Episode 3 already. >///< I love this show sooo much. If you guys can’t tell already from my ratings and stuff =3
