Skip Beat Chapter 148: Because Ren Deserves It~

Minnie: I know this chapter is fabulous and it’s been out for a while but I’ve been sick so leave me alone. 
Be thankful that I even spend some time blogging this chapter in the first place when I don’t have to~ It’s Skip Beat though so I have to! There. You happy? Joking. I’m feeling much better and ready to blog Skip Beat and everything else that I haven’t gotten around to blogging yet. Please move on to the post itself to see my mild fangirling!
We all know that the first part of the chapter is really to waste time and to remind us of what Shou’s plans are. It’s pretty obvious for the past few chapters but just in case some of you hadn’t paid enough attention, Shou is doing all this so Kyoko will return to hating him. She’ll think of him always. That’s what he wants. He doesn’t want some healthy relationship where they run along the beach, holding hands. Oh no. He has to pull a Rogelio and make Rosy Kyoko hate him.
And guess what? It worked. Oh, Shou, you clever playboy you. Even Ren’s trick failed…
As much as I love dark and angry Kyoko, whenever she makes faces like this, I want to tackle her into a hug and tell her everything’s going to be all right! She’ll get over Shou one day and marry Ren. Hahahaha. Anyways, moving along now, I have to say that Kyoko is taking this kiss thing… to an extreme. Everything reminds her of the kiss. Everything reminds her of Shou. She’s completely losing it this chapter, which makes me question why the mangaka even go through with the last chapter with Ren and his story when it doesn’t work at all.
Furthermore, I am pleasantly surprised by Kyoko’s Valentine present to Ren. Everyone’s like ”Oh no! Kyoko forgot to get a b-day present for Ren! And now she forgot to make him chocolates too!”. Take that you people! Instead, she makes something especially for him <3 In return for the present he gave her on her b-day. Isn’t this so sweet of Kyoko? Omg, she’s so awesome… really. That is why she’s my second favorite female character of all time!
Ren/Kyoko moment is appreciated~ Until well… you guys know what happen… 
OMGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!! THE ENDING! What the heck?! For Shou, they leave it off with a kiss and then for Ren, they don’t?! What kind of favoritism is this? No really. I don’t think it’s favoritism for this. It’s more like Ren won’t kiss Kyoko at all. I am betting on that. He’ll either kiss her on the forehead or something will happen to stop the kiss from happening. Why else would we be left off with an ending like that? The about to but probably not going to happen? However, if they really do kiss, it is very very welcome <3 It is about time Ren makes a move!

I think the mangaka put the stuff in last chapter in as a prelude for what is going to happen, with Ren losing his resolve of not to let his past influence him and fall in love with Kyoko. to which I say, forget about that promise you made yourself, she was not much of a part in that past, and the present you knows her alot more then the past her. stop holding back…
that would classify as fanboying I guess…

i’ll tell you why it ended like that. she was drunk all along because of the “sampling” she did with the jelly for ren. shou noticed because of her red ears
) that’s the reason he kissed her in the first place. you’ll see i’m right. and there’s something wrong with that pink spoon she got for ren as well.and skip beat is TO romantic in my opinion.maybe we’ll get a kiss between ren and kyoko for christmas.:)

Aaaannnd, we the readers are reminded that under the lovable dork Shou is still a giant douche. Talk about twisted, he doesn’t want her love but oh does he want her hate. Weirdo. Get thee to a therapist!
Both him and Kyouko, actually, but Kyouko wouldn’t be the Kyouko we love if she actually went to a shrink to solve her problems. Looks like we’ll have to rely on Ren. C’mon, Ren, show that douche who’s the REAL fairy prince!!

WHAT THE HECK?! Why are they leaving us hanging at the climax?! I can’t believe it! okay, when Shou kissed her, you actually see it, and here, you see Ren about to kiss her?! ANNDD you kow one way or another, Ren is most likely to kiss her forehead or stop himself! STOP HOLDING YOURSELF BACK REN! TURN ON THE LOVE SWITCH IN YOUR BRAIN AND HURRY UP!!! IT’S NOT FAIR TO US FANGIRLS!!! ARE YOU A MAN OR NOT?! * shakes him violently and tugs at her hair, then grinds her teeth
I cannot WAIT TILL THE NEXT CHAPTER COMES OUT!!! OMGGGGGG!!!!!! WILL HE REALLY KISS HER?! WHY DOES THE NEXT CHAPTER HAVE TO BE RELEASED IN DECEMBER?! WHY?! THAT’S TOO LONG! *BAWLS

The New chapter just came out on December 5th and it is definitely worth the wait. >w.< My guess so far: A dictionary. ( Since the first time they met was through the chicken and he was looking up words on his cellphone.) XP Anyone else want to take a guess? XD
