Minnie: I know this post is terribly late thanks to my absense during the holiday season, but since I love Skip Beat enough and I believe this chapter is important enough, I will blog it. As for the past couple of days, I didn’t really go on a blogging break or anything. I was simply too busy from the holiday season and various other stuff to blog. Hopefully, most of you guys reading this know how I feel and how busy it can be during this time of year. Thankfully, I am back and ready to blog this and a couple of other episodes I left behind…

In order to make this quick so I can blog the other anime episodes I’m behind on, I’ll only give very little commentary/fangirling. You guys know the mumble jumble. Do you really need me to say everything? Hehe.

♥ Hmmm… what can I say about this… it’s sort of unexpected? I don’t know if I missed something or not, but I’m pretty sure that this new shota and relationship between him and Kanae is something that’s been introduced quite recently. Since it’s Skip Beat, there’s probably an important point as to why we’re told so much about his crying abilities and her admiration.

♥ I doubt it’s a new shipping in the making, but something big and crucial will come out of this for sure. 

♥ The thing is I like to think that Kanae and Kyoko will work together again sometime soon. Or maybe they will do something that will involve each other because Kanae has just grown a bit as a person off-screen and I like to think that this character development is not only for her sake, but for the plot’s sake as well. I’m hopeful on this idea and I’m dying to know how this will contribute to the overall story.

♥ Now, is for the short fangirling part… GOSH KANAE is sooo awesome. I really like her and I find her soo tsundere-moelicious, but more so in the last couple of recent chapters more than usual? Haha.

♥ Of course, the most exciting bits are the Ren/Kyoko part of the story right? Or at least, the half that everyone is dying to know more about? Although we still don’t know what Kyoko gave to Ren as a b-day present, we get more details on the aftermath of the cheek kiss. As you can see in the picture above, Kyoko is not taking this quite well. Ren expects as such, but not to this extent or something? In any case, all in all, Ren is being Ren and Kyoko is being Kyoko. Both perfectly in character and acting realistically within their characters to the circumstances presented before them.

♥ I like to add that Kyoko spinning around with thoughts of Ren is adorable. I have to ask though- are they grudges gone or something? Or will they be back?

♥ What more can I say? I enjoy Skip Beat and I enjoy this development. I must admit that I predicted that Ren will explain everything to Kyoko and they will be back to square one in the romance department. This tends to happen a lot in Skip Beat both because of Ren’s personality and how long the romance is dragged out in this manga. I’m not complaining too much because I’m perfectly fine with Kyoko/Nobody, but come on, back to square one? Poor Ren! All that for… almost nothing.

♥ I am dying to know what’s going to happen next though because this chapter ended on a quiet note… so mysterious and frustrating at the same time… Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have around three other blog entries to take care of. XD
