Kimi ni Todoke Episode 13: “I Want It To Be Love”
Let's continue where we left off, shall we?
Minnie: After a week long break with no new airing anime for me to watch, Kimi ni Todoke is the first one out of the many shows to be subbed first in my list. Of course, this made me happy because KnT is currently the show I loved the most. I’m crossing my fingers and hoping it will last for 26 episodes in all. I don’t want KnT to end anytime soon because… what can I say? I’m a sucker for Sawako and the Sawako/Kazehaya pairing. Let’s hope all this episodes stay high in quality. Sparkle sparkle~

Minnie’s Anticipation for Next Episode: 10/10
Thoughts: Why is it that almost every episode of KnT has made me cry a little here and there? This episode made me tear up a couple of times. I don’t get it. Is it the music? The voice acting? Or am I just a sucker for these types of romances? In any case, this is a superb episode is resolving the rumor issue earlier in the show. Yano proves why she’s the smart one of the group and full of pure ownage. And Kurumi has been owned for her bad deeds this episode by all the right people. Ryuu just rocks in general for going whatever and leaving. And of course, let’s not forget Kazehaya asking Sawako out <3 CUTEEEEEEEEE! But yeah, superb episode and development.
Fangirling:
After Kazehaya grabs Sawako’s arm and runs, Sawako feels… something that might be love in her chest. Since she doesn’t know what falling in love feels like, she tells herself that she wants this feeling to be love. I really enjoy the bubbles and sparkles in the background this episode… more than any other for some reason. It just adds a whole new level for it. Props to Sawako’s voice acting for this scene too!
Yano reveals to Yoshida that something is up with Kurumi and it is most likely she who is the one who spread all those horrible rumors about them earlier in the series. Of course, there must be a reason why she dislikes them so much so Yoshida comes up with the most logical explanation in her head- Kurumi likes Ryuu. It makes some sense since they all go to the same middle school and everything… Though…
I have to join Yano in the “…” fest. Some of it doesn’t make sense since Kurumi doesn’t even attempt to talk to Ryuu. But we all know that Yano is the perceptive one, not Yoshida. XD
YAY FOR SAWAKO!!!!!!!!! She has finally accepted her feelings while staring at Kazehaya’s face! ^^
Kazehaya is trying to act cool around Sawako even though it was obvious that he was jealous what happened between her and Ryuu earlier. Oh Kazehaya!
Come on Sawako! Do it! Jump him! Just kidding…
This is where all of us go “D’AWWWWWWW” at this cute moment between the two lovebirds. =3 I know I am teary at this moment. Kazehaya wants to help Sawako and he has helped her many times in the past, but Sawako believes she’s just a burden to him and that he doesn’t have to go that far for her. Of course he can if he wants to! He’s in love with you too Sawako! Don’t you get it? XD
I just put in this screen shot because well, Sawako is so girly and cute here. =3 Also, I like how Kazehaya asked Sawako out to be his girlfriend and had to take it back. XDDDDDDDDDDD Epic fail?
Yano is revealing all the evilness of Kurumi to Yoshida since the other girl can’t comprehend anything!
Because Yano is one awesome evil mastermind, that’s why. Oh wait. Cross out the evil.
Yano knows that Kurumi is one tough opponent. In order to strike down this opponent, they cannot let her off the hook by faking innocence. Yano, what are you up to? =3 And how much am I going to love you for it? XD Haha.
This image reminds me of one of those Ojou-samas… except Yano owns them all for being awesome both this episode and last episode =3
The cute act alert! Pin doesn’t know what to do!
Actually, he has his own conclusions as to why Kurumi is everywhere he is…
This is the case where instead of being oblivious to a girl’s crush, the male thinks she has a crush on him when she doesn’t even care for him. Omg. It’s funny how that works, doesn’t it?
Because… you’re up against Pin, Kurumi… you should hold up the white flag. Common sense and normal tactics won’t work on him. 
Kurumi… I think you have just been knocked off Kazehaya’s bang list if he ever had one. No one would date a girl who crushes on a weird, substitute teacher like Pin. No offense Pin <3
Kurumi, RUN!!! You’re doomed for life!!!!!
Yano is quite proud of herself for gathering such solid evidence… so much that…
She has to strike a pose!
Meanwhile, innocent Sawako has no idea what Yano and Yoshida are up to, investigating about Kurumi. Sawako has finally realized her feelings for Kazehaya. What does a girl do when she realizes her feelings? She tells her friends of course! Which… sadly, includes Kurumi. Sawako… I don’t think this is a good idea… you should turn back before Kurumi attack you with her claws. o.o
Of course it is! It’s WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!!!!!!!!!
Yoshida is desperately trying to act evil and badass like Yano and failing miserably. 
Innocent Sawako is here <3 It’s been a while since I did this so I’ll do it now: SAWAKO <3333333333333333333 You’re soooo awesome!!! One of a kind~ One of the few heroines I actually adore without being dark and cunning. ^^ <3 Sawako~
And of course, Yano gets even more love for her line <333333333333333333333
What will happen next? What will happen between Kurumi and Sawako? Catfight or reconcile or neither? I actually read this chapter so I know. I can’t wait to see it animated though! <3 Until next time <3333333

Yano-chan was won me over, she is far more evil in her actions then Kurumi, even if the cause is good.
and I Laughed so hard when Yoshida went on about being so bright and all.
I too am looking forward to the next episode, and I’m guessing you’re happy about the live action.

I am delighted to see what Yano & Yoshida are bringing to this series. What great characters… but also the creative team is doing such a great job on using all the characters. Even Pin had a really great part here; and he was perfect in performing his unknowing humiliation of Kurumi.
Brilliant show.

Dammit Minnie. Do you know how hard it is for me NOT to go and download the manga? Remarks like yours at the end of your post are not helping me.
Okay. On with my comment on this episode:
To bad that they made it turn out that Kurumi was the source of the rumors after all as I think it’s beneath her (sorry, I do support Sawako and Kazehaya totally but I’m also a little Kurumi fanboy and someone has to defend her … and comfort her

I have little doubt that Sawako will forgive Kurumi knowing that both she and her like Kazehaya. Having realized only now that she is madly in love (still not realising the feeling is mutual though, but that way we can enjoy this a little longer so it’s all good) I suppose she feels that Kurumi is also having a hard time. Besides, it’s not in Sawako’s nature to carry a grutch.
Either way, I’m looking forward to the next episode.

To Ringy: Yup. Agreed. And the live action… can’t wait!! ^^
To Faded Love: I love this cast too ^^ I mean at first, Yano and Yoshida don’t stand out because it is so focused on Sawako. But now that they’re getting more spotlight, I love them more and more with every upcoming episode. This is one of those shoujo that are really worthy. ^^ (Not going to bash typical shoujo stories here…)
To WillTRiker: Sorry about that! XD Thanks to my remarks, my friend had to read the Hatsukoi Limited manga before the anime was completed! Even though I’m not a Kurumi fangirl, I admit that I really like her just because of the way she does things and how smart she is compared to most rival characters in shoujo manga/anime. I’m glad you’re defending her though. She is getting too much hate lately. I’m glad for the rest of your comment because it proves you know Sawako pretty well. ^^
