Minnie: I am going to say this once and hopefully, don’t need to repeat myself: I am sick again. I blame the weather. And with that out of the way, I am here with your newest blog entry on Kimi ni Todoke. If I am able to switch my dog’s name with my best friend’s name, you guys better be aware of name switching for this entry~ Let’s hope I catch them before I publish the entry itself~

Minnie’s Overall Rating for Episode: 9/10

Minnie’s Anticipation for Next Episode: 9/10

Thoughts: This episode is heavy on Tooru/Yano… not that I’m complaining. I like how this entire episode turned out. It’s sweet and cute and simple. It’s not too dramatic and it’s pretty light, compared to the last episode. But anyways, I enjoy the end of this arc a lot… especially with such a cute ending between one of my favorite side couples. Overall, I can’t wait for Sawako and Kazehaya again but taking a break and tackling this arc is worth it. :)

Fangirling:

The guy you have a crush on is putting on the charms on you despite him getting married… with bubbles and sparkles… and all that glory. Seriously. How do you resist that? In addition, he’s a bishie…

Touchy wuchy~ But anyways, I don’t know why but I feel like his voice actor is trying too hard… or is it just me? Anyways, they remind me of siblings already by this first line. But really… I like how Yano asking him about such weird questions and he totally called her on it. ^_^

This is so ridiculous that I laughed really really hard… I love it when someone does something silly and then someone else claps for it. ^^;; Though I have to admit, this moment does work and it leaves us with a good feeling before the two talk about their childhood together.

How many other secrets are you guys keeping from Ryuu?!!!!!! Jokes aside, it is obvious that Tooru knows that Ryuu has feelings for Chii~

Honesty to the extreme… cute moment. This is why Koala like little kids I believe. ;)

Of course he does. Every single time you’re about to confess your feelings in shoujo even if you know you’re going to be rejected, they will pull some stunt like this. :P Seriously. Either that or it’s the mangaka’s fault >:C

You know what they say… guys who make girls genuinely cry are the ones who will eventually get her… Or is that me making stuff up so I can get these two together? But yeah, Tooru, you’re good. Right on man!

I can’t stand guys who do this even before they’re getting married to other girls… thankfully, I know he only sees Yoshida as a younger sister so it’s perfectly fine. Still, don’t get her hopes up… only to be crushed… that’s just too sad. :(

It took me a bit to understand a lot of this episode but this part… I got it immediately, right before he even explained to Yoshida why he called her that. I’m just that good~

This takes guts I tell you. One, the person you love is getting married so there is zero chance of it happening (at least not any time soon if you’re an American). Two, the fact that it’s Yoshida should say something about how hard it must be for her. Three, she is risking a perfectly sweet walk between the two by confessing. You rock, Yoshida.

Best way to answer someone without rejecting them. Everyone need to learn from this guy. Besides, it’s so obvious that he knows what she means but he’s going to let her off gently.

A confident, blunt Ryuu is the best Ryuu. Hands down. For this moment alone, he deserves Yoshida. <3

Ryuu is not going to kick the rival out of the picture just because it’s suitable for him. Ryuu, you are officially an awesome male character for that from now on.

Ryuu’s dreams have come true <3 You go, Ryuu! Get your girl <3 :) *waves shipper flag around frantically*

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Everyone say “AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW” at the same time:

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW <33333333333333

About time. Now, back to Kazehaya and Sawako… yes? :P

Late note: My fangirling is lame… Sorry. :( *inserts excuses and goes to bed* Good night everyone and I hope next week will be better for all of us. ^^

Loved this episode, the conversations between Tooru and Yano made me laugh, and the ending of this episode was so sweet. and I agree with the guy making girl girl cry get girl theory.

    Minnie, get well soon.

Ryuu is quite amazing. Really, to make the arrangement for Tooru to come back was beautiful. While it does works out in his favor, there are not so many of us that can think so clearly. The average person would have a hard time seeing beyond the pain of their (wished for) girl being in love with their brother.

Ryuu is a wonderfully masculine character without the need to be erratic and destructive. For example he doesn’t feel the need to sabotage Yoshida’s feelings for his brother. No need to challenge Tooru to a duel at Kendo. Instead he is able to channel this through an utter confidence in himself and his friends. Love that.
