Minnie: I love the screen shot above. Even though I am only about five years older than kids who love their autotune and Lady Gaga and horrible dance music, I feel like I’m 20 years older than them XD What happened to music where people can actually hear your voice? What happened to music with singers who actually have a range? But that’s a discussion for another day. For those of you who know me well, you know I’ve been gushing over this anime since the first episode and still gushing over it. Here I am with the very first blog for it~ Hope you guys enjoy my thoughts!

I loved this episode more than I should have. I actually laughed more than I usually do for Tomodachi episodes. It’s just hilarious because the topic is cell phones and man, does it tickle my fancy to talk about something that has grown so exponentially over the past decade. Remember back when we had to use payphones? Now, if you don’t have a cell phone and you’re over 15, you’re in the minority. Look how far we’ve come! Oh technology. I love you and hate you at the same time. But yeah, this episode addresses this issue in a light and humorous manner ^___^

Oh my gosh. Is that true? Yes, it is. Yozora and Kodoka are not very social people. They don’t have many friends except each other. That’s why it’s so damn funny when they learn this concept- you can use cell phone to call each other! Cell phones are not simply for calling back home to report to your parents anymore! What a crazy idea right? I remember back when I was around 14 and learned about this XDDD This brings back good memories. And this is back when cell phones are only for calling people… now you can do a gazillion things on those gadgets… so crazy. I’m so damn old, haha~

Besides the brilliant humor throughout the episode, I am beginning to really feel the tension between Yozora and Sena over their feelings for Kodoka. Kodoka might not be the best male character in the history of anime, but he’s the only existing one in this anime (let’s not count the maid okay? XD), which means all the girls will pin for him. And it’s already happening! Yozora is excited and happy to have Kodoka as her first cell phone contact while Sena is tsundere glad that she is able to have the same cell phone model AND color as Kodoka. These two girls are so amusing. Their relationship is so damn amusing. Is it fair for me to say that I am a pretty strong Yozora/Sena supporter? I don’t really care who gets Kodoka to be honest =x And sure, it would be a dominant relationship with Yozora on top of Sena, but think about all the fun, sexy times these two can have with each other. The thought of it thrills me so much I wish I am still into fanfiction XP

Anyways, moving on, this is one solid episode. I am still not fond of perverted, scientist girl who I do not know the name of, but Sena/Yozora alone are enough to push me to watch this anime to the end. They are so mean yet adorable at the same time <3 Wah. I highly recommend this anime to those of you who want something light and fun to watch because this is definitely worth your time for entertainment value alone~
