Episode 25: Venture it All
Miken: This will be my last episode entry for Tales of the Abyss here. I concede all rights to writing for the final episode to Angel, who will see to it once she finds the time. However, this won’t be the last time you’ll find me writing about this series, since I have something up my sleeve. As for being even more delayed than before, I blame Pokemon Platinum.

Miken: Just to clear it up, since I was asked on my last post — I know that since gg is taking a break, many people are out of a sub provider for this series. However, just to remind you, Abyssal Chronicles is still working on ToA, and Yuurisan still isn’t out — they just released 17. Keep in mind that Abyssal Chronicles does not speed-sub, and the script goes through at least three editing processes (once before and twice after timing). I have subs in my posts because I time for Abyssal Chronicles for somewhere around half the episodes. Also, just because I have posted here dosn’t mean the episode will be released by AC the very next day. [[I hope this didn't sound like too much of a shameless plug...]] PS – Don’t go trolling there for faster releases or I might start ripping heads off.
Other than that…I should have episode 25 done by next weekend or something like that. I have a rather hectic week, and I have to time it on top of that. Oh yeah~ Angel will be returning WITH A BANG for the final episode of this series, so watch out for her! -wink-

Episode 23: Sorrowful Parting
Miken: I’m very very sorry for being late, Firefox decided to hate wordpress and then I kept messing up the coding. On the upside, I have a raw already downloaded for episode 24. However, I probably won’t be able to get to it for another couple days, since I’ll probably wait until I get a translation so I can start timing.
Lesson Learned: Next time, take the elevator
Miken: Hopefully, Angel will return soon, she’ll definitely want to cover the final stretch of this anime. Anyways, since I’ve finished my first playthrough of Ar Tonelico II, I was much less distracted while writing this up…Still, with a 292 or so lines of dialogue, this was hell to time. Still, I consider myself lucky if the line count is 250-270…and that hasn’t happened in a while. But I digress… (more…)

Episode 21: Ancient Tower
Miken: Still here. Wish I was gone yet? It seems that I’ll still be covering this series until Angel’s computer problems have been resolved. Also, I have to admit that listening to only the audio of Luke and Asch’s argument this week has some unfortunate implications…*cough* Anyways, episode 22 should be up in a couple days unless Angel returns to claim it, since I have a raw and a translation from AC ready. Episode 20: Forest Grave Markers
Miken: I’m here once again to cover for Angel, who has computer problems. I hope you all can deal with more me while we wait for her situation to be solved. Still, posting while I time the episode…feels really wierd. I actually don’t “watch” the episode until I finish the timing when check to see if all the lines flow well with the animation, so I had to go back and check if I got the locations right afterwards. It was pretty good luck getting the translation at this time too…I kinda resolved myself to not use the gg subs of Tales of the Abyss, and using raws might have been confusing. Minnie, Minnie! Look! They're almost touching hands (or falling down)!
Katt: So Minnie blogs my main anime, and now I am blogging Angel’s main anime. Don’t ask us to explain how that worked out; it just did. And I’m not complaining because I am quite a big fan of Tales of the Abyss! Let’s recap-our heroes are now manipulating all of the passage rings such that the Outer Lands will lower together, slowly. The most recent passage ring they’ve altered is the one at Mt. Roneal near Keterburg, and after managing this they have returned to Keterburg to rest. This would be the point in the video game when the party splits up and Luke gets to talk to everyone.
Just in case you guys haven't figured out that I'm an egotistic bastard, here is the proof.
Steve: Is everyone sick of Tales of the Abyss being tossed around by our bloggers yet? I hope not! The reason why it is being blogged by so many members of our blog is because it is so loved, not hated. Have you seen our banner? Our forum? Our theme? Our solo posts? Everything is ToA themed. It makes sense that almost everyone on the team is on the list to blog this anime. Episode 17 is here and since I haven’t blogged ToA for a while, I’ll get the job done today. Thankfully, I don’t have boobs so Angel can’t hate me for this. I love you Angel, just in case you decide to kill me.

Minnie: One of the best parts of being on the Hey, Say, Anime team is that there are a lot of writers to pick up the slack for those who are falling behind. For this week, our designated writer Angel for ToA is sick so I will review in her place. I hope no one minds since I’ve been reviewing ToA before her anyways. Enough of the chitchat since this is one awesome episode coming up.
