Don’t tell me you think I’m always behind on anime like this.

Miken: I needed a reason to get off my rear and watch all the series that piled up during the tail end of school. My problem is that I pick up way too many series and my sense of “I NEED TO FINISH THIS” kicks in after 3-4 episodes and I become almost completely unable to drop it. It takes something especially horrible (like Winter Sonata) to get me to drop a series well into it. However, this season has been marked with a bunch of series I just didn’t feel like continuing. I suppose I’m finally learning my lesson and not watching series that I don’t outright enjoy to at least some degree. Also — thankfully, not all of these episodes were watched at once. It’s more like catching up bit by bit on each series over a rather long stretch of time [I don't do marathons much anymore].

Thoughts: Pretty decent episode with some USA/England moments. There’s not much to say except Japan’s not in this one so I miss him already.

Fangirling:

I love this joke sooo much! Whenever Hetalia picks on the lack of British cruisine, I have to laugh. In this case, they are making fun of the eggs in the British menu. Always a win. I think it is also a joke on British invention no?

Father and son are fighting head on! USA is trying to secede and rebel against his father! How will this end?!

In the end, England can’t shoot his own son. It’s too much. Does this mean that the British went easy on the American? Naw. It’s just a joke on how rebellious USA was and how England had the compassion to let us do our thing after all that.

Best line ever. XD Since England is coming, it’s time for them to hide all those good father/son memories! That’s how it’s done USA! I can’t wait until next episode =3

What makes you think that, America?

Katt: Minnie is always falling behind on her Hetalia posts, isn’t she?! Bad Minnie! I am not even listed to blog this, buuut I feel as though I have to for episode 19 because my country has made his appearance. That’s right, everyone–as I was walking home from work the other day, my best friend texted me, ”Canada is in.” He is adorable. He has a polar bear. He…goes unnoticed by everyone else. Here’s where I bring up my catch phrase for this post: Poor Canada. This episode had its funny moments outside of Canada (such as Chinatown, ahaha), though it’s only natural that I give Canada love since, well, none of the other countries do.

Haaarsh, England! Even China hasn’t forgotten how he raised Japan (as is shown in episode 17, was it?), and yet Canada’s ‘father’ doesn’t even recognize him when he shows up in the Allied Forces’ meeting room! Poor Canada.

This line is hilaaaarious! You know how many animu make fun of the Japanese tendency to apologize when unnecessary? Well, my friends and I have recently realized that Canadians can often be the same. At Anime North we always found ourselves apologizing when we bumped into people, even if they were the ones at fault. His senseless politeness makes him weak! Poor Canada.

Did anyone else think of the line from the Simpsons, “Oh Marge, anyone can miss Canada–all tucked away down there” at this point? Because I did. Poor Canada.

He just becomes a transparent spectre in the Allied Forces’ meeting room, patiently waiting his turn… I think you all know what I am going to say by now, so let’s all recite it together: POOR CANADA!

Minnie: Woot! Third Hetalia Post in a row! Let’s see if I can keep up this momentum for the latest episode. Last episode, we get one of the best Hetalia episodes to date because… well… France asked England to marry him for financial reasons! Pure win right there. I don’t think this episode can live up to that one but let’s find out all right?

Love is in the air~ Marriage/Merge?!

Minnie: I am on a roll! Let’s see if I can get a couple more done after this one! I swear, if I manage to succeed, I’ll blog Episode 15 on time. I can’t believe someone as consistent as I am can blog a few weeks late. I should keep up with this since it’s only five minutes long… Wait. Now, I feel pathetic. >__< Moving on though, last time, we ended the episode on an awesome note- France wants to marry England? Let’s see what happens this time!

Italy/Germany forever! WOOT!

Minnie: I am late AGAIN with my Hetalia posts! Woot! To make it up, I’ll try to review them all right now within an hour. I doubt I’ll make it by then but I’ll try to at least get episode 14 done soon. Sounds good? Yay. Now, I get to lose myself in Italy goodness. Oh btw, you guys all know that Hetalia is getting a second season right after this one right? Awesome. Just awesome. Anyways, on to the review!

I love USA!! He's so paranoid~

Minnie: Okay, I lied. I did want to finish Hetalia with just Episode 5 but Episode 6 is so funny that I can’t help but blog it. Even though it’s only five  minutes, I literally laugh for five minutes at one of the jokes. What is wrong with me? I calm down enough to blog now though. I swear. This is the last episode before the most recent. I hope!

Italy might be an idiot but he is one heck of an artist.

Minnie: I apologize for neglecting Hetalia until now. I won’t bring up excuses since I consistently blog the rest of my anime but anyways, this one just slip my mind once and then I didn’t have time to blog it again. I think I am six episodes behind or so, therefore, I will blog this one and the newest one when I have time. From then, I will stay consistent like I usually do. Good? Good! The Introduction of U-Boats! Hurray!

Minnie: Hetalia Axis Powers! Sorry for being late for you! The thing is I actually did check for this anime on Monday to see if it’s out and subbed yet. Unfortunately, the answer is no. From Tuesday-Thursday, I have to do a lot of other things to do including the anime I am supposed to blog on their respective days. By the end of it, Hetalia has been pushed back until now! Sorry! College work has a tendency to get in the way… I’m here now and that’s what matters right? *shuts up*
