So sorry for the lateness... -pouts-
Angel: At least the weather was gorgeous this weekend even though I am inside finishing a lab report… :Q
I believe I do not need to focus too much on summary, as I am sure that the followers have seen this episode days ago, neh?
Overview with Comments/Pictures
Surrounded by monsters in the Red Night, Kakeru and Yuka are on the brink of death when a swordswomen, Kusakabe Misuzu, obliterates the tentacle-using blob-like monsters with her lightning inducing sword. Now, this is the coolest weapon ever..
As the three escape, they briefly introduce each other and discuss why they are in this alternate space-time dimension, which Misuzu believes to have been created intentionally. In addition, she wonders if the pair is “chosen,” but alas, they have no (awaken :3) powers.

SHINING- *shot*
☆ The Opening illustrates Kakeru wielding a similar sword, but I wonder what Yuka’s supposed power may be. This series needs more lightning swords!
☆ Interestingly in this realm, we see the “ghost girl” from the last part of episode 1. This time, she is defeating monsters with glowing chains. She resembles Kakeru’s sister and shares the chains. Are they the same person or different? Is the “ghost” real and a chosen one sent to the Red Night too? It is too early for me to decide, really.
☆ Whenever Misuzu is fighting, I love the music playing; it is kind of techno-ish and pumps my brain during the long winded nights. ^__^
☆ Lisette is soooo adorable. It is painful to see such a sweet loli encased in a crystal tower and surrounded by crystal spears. I suspect that she is imprisoned for having an unconscious/uncontrollable power, which Misuzu suggests.
Episode looks great so far. Action, suspense, plus no tentacles/panties.

It is the evil overlord. Called it.
☆ The enemies (who strangely remind me of.. some Power Ranger boss :’D) refer to Kakeru as “Invidia” so he may be of a special race altogether. Their designs are way cooler than the mentioned boss (where did I even get this idea/reference), however.
☆ Aaaaand right when an epic battle is about to climax, the three are magically transported back to the real world. AGAIN. STOP TEASING ME. The battle music here is great, too. I am a sucker for anything with a beat.

Mmm, food~ Fine fine, this is not a suitable screenshot, lol.
☆ One interesting fact to note is that three other students are involved in the Red Night; two females and one male. I can suspect that the ghost/sister is one for obviously being present in the shadows. As for the other two, basing this on the opening, the fierce blond girl and pyrokinetic gray haired boy may be the other two involved. Besides them, the only other candidates would be Kaori, Tadashi, or the school nurse. Unfortunately, we have not seen anything peculiar in their roles to suggest them fighting demons. On the other hand, we have not seen anything from the blond/gray either. We have only seen Misuzu fight. I can suspect Shiori Momono too, as foreign exchange students are always suspicious. They come to a new nation to.. Poke you… ;D
☆ Off comes the eye patch and what do we have… heterochromia! Who knew. 8D

DO WANT.

DO NOT WANT.
Classmates meet up, blah blah. Now, I think Momono may be a sorceress if she is playing mind tricks on Kakeru. Also, WHY DOES SHE STARE. I do not think that is cute… Need more cuteness…

A cute maid for the guys!
Hirohara Yukiko works at Kakeru’s place. I smell a harem forming.
☆ Ooh, so Yukiko can heal her cuts super fast. I bet she is one of the three involved. Now, if we all put our heads together and recall Maylene from Kuroshitsuji, we may have here another case of a split personality maid with glasses, eee.

Sweet romance for the ladies~
Yay, let us hope that Kakeru can protect his “little sister” (bwaha) figure. Hey hey, Yuka can easily develop into a love interest.
☆ Anyway, Kakeru has a strange dream. Honestly, I think he may be deeply involved in the crystal tower and the black armored enemies based on his gold eye’s reaction and his dreams. Maybe Kakeru has amnesia?
☆ Ending theme gives me chills, just check it out!
I am out of ideas and already bloody late, so I will let you guys comment/criticize, which is always appreciated. I am still honing my writing skills. :3
11eyes is developing wonderfully. As I mentioned, less fanservice is always a plus, imo. A serious should sell based on plot, characters, and performance, and not have to resort to trash fanservice.
Till next time, my lovelies. And yes, I will round ratings to the tenth now; this seems more accurate on how I personally rank things than giving most episodes 6-10.
Angel’s Overall Rating for Episode 2: 8.7/10
Angel’s Anticipation Meter: 8.4/10
