Nice pitching form, Aoba. ^_^
Garrick: After a surge of inspiration for our dictator Minnie, HSA has come upon the idea to return to having certain pairs team up in blogging anime.
Kaitlyn: Sooo, not only does that make everything easier, but then everybody in the blog can work together! And maybe become better friends! Of course, me and Garrick don’t need that
Garrick: Anyway, hopefully this not only makes our blog posts fun to read, but the quality and enjoyment factor of the blog as a whole increase.
Kaitlyn: Don’t cross out my lines! I made them up myself!
Garrick: (turns page of script) Continuing on with the episode…
Kaitlyn: Don’t ignore me!
Garrick: We all remember that ending to the baseball game between Seishuu’s “F” team, and Seishuu’s main team, which of course our own protagonist, Koh Kitamura, pitched.
Kaitlyn: I remember!! After pitching through the whole game, poor Koh lost the game 6-5… even after striking out the evil uber-hitter Azuma! Of course… that also means that Koh doesn’t get any Napoletan, which I have recently learned is a spaghetti dish!
Garrick: Right. Thanks for the info, Kaitlyn. Anyway, not all is lost. After all, the team that was picked to get blown out probably 30-0, held the game to a very respectable 5-6 loss. And our team members are quite happy about that.
Kaitlyn: Yep! Everyone, especially the stupid useless Senda, is happy with the way they played against the “Main” team, led by Mister Scary Sunglasses Coach! So happy, that they decide to go out for ice creeam! But, what’s this? Koh’s not going to eat any? Is he trying to save money?

Ooooh, moneyyyyy!
Garrick: We’ll find out, won’t we. After the end of the opening, it certainly looks that way. Koh is counting the money in his piggy-bank, for something.
Kaitlyn: For what, though? I wanna know!
Garrick: Yes, we all do, Kaitlyn. Meanwhile, as Koh is counting his money, he gets summoned by our former ace/current shortstop, Senda. He wants to go with Koh to watch Seishuu’s Middle School baseball team. Remember the former ace, Senda? Well, there’s a new ace. Seishuu might be in trouble, with some great hitters on the opponent’s team.
Kaitlyn: What are youu talking about?! The ace is Aoba-chan! Who is the awesomest pitcher after Koh! Actually, she’s better than Koh! Because she’s a girl! And besides, when the game came, Aoba-chan totally blew the other team out of the water! Aoba’s so good, that she would actually pull off her pitches to give the outfield fielding practice! Not only is she an awesome pitcher, but she also is nice enough to let them practice!

On purpose!!!
Garrick: Yes, yes, she is quite the awesome pitcher, but other than her match with the other team, she’s not quite that important this episode.
Kaitlyn: Hey! Don’t forget about her match with Senda’s cousin, Midori! Midori is a girl’s baseball player who is supposedly a really good hitter, and–
Garrick: Nobody cares about Midori and Senda.
Kaitlyn: I wanna say it anyway! After she hears from Senda about how good Aoba is, she, as a batter, wants to face off with her. In fact, she’s so into it, that she ends up going to the Tsukishima batting center to practice hitting pitches that are really fast! But, Koh is there, and he even says that the fastest pitching machine there is slower than Aoba’s pitches! Aoba is so awesome!!!

Bye bye, Midori!
Garrick: Long story short, Aoba beats the heck out of Midori, who asks why Aoba insists on going to Seishuu High, which doesn’t have a girl’s baseball team. No distinct answer. Can I continue now?
Kaitlyn: Fine. Meanie.
Garrick: Meanwhile, we go to the part of the episode that is touching and sad. We see Koh walking around with the manager of the main tennis team, Risa, carrying all of her stuff.
Kaitlyn: The evill manager! The one who is mean and ick! Why is she making Koh do all this stuff! Why? And why is Koh doing it?!! That’s bad! That’s like slavery!
Garrick: Calm down, Kaitlyn. It’s all revealed. And it’s a rather sweet reason. Remember, before Wakaba’s death, she provided him with a list of the gifts she wanted every year.
Kaitlyn: Awwwww, how cute! Wait, is that right coming from me? o.o Anyway, the reason Koh was a slave for Risa, is because one of the gifts that Koh needed to get for Aoba… was a teapot! But… the teapot is no longer being made… and there’s only one more at the shop! And as it turns out… poor Koh watched it get bought by Risa, and in order to get the last teapot, had to be her slave! Poor Koh! Couldn’t stupid Risa just have given it to him? Or at least let him pay her? I bet you Risa also took his money, too.

You fell to her influence! Noooooooooo, Koh!
Garrick: She probably did. But, that’s just her. This episode, however, totally shows Koh’s undying… love? devotion? to Wakaba, even after her death. And it’s rather sweet.

It's Wakaba's list!!
Kaitlyn: And cute. ^_^ Maybe I should make a list for what I want for all my upcoming birthdays… and give that to Garrick…
Garrick: Just don’t die. Please.
