CONVENIENT LIGHTNING!!

Katt: So I know that my fellow bloggers weren’t at all fond of Sengoku Basara’s first episode, but I found it amusing. The complete exaggerations of the samurai code of honour and the over-the-top battle scenes are funny. Despite this, I’m not sure that I’ll be blogging it beyond this episode. Why? I am not sure if I’ll be able to adapt my blog style to a show as action-packed as this. I’ll give it a shot with this episode and we’ll see how it goes from there! I’m thinking I’ll go through each of the main conflicts/confrontations and provide some screencaps of the ridiculous elements that keep me entertained.

Comedy, drama, or just stupid? (Just a note... this applies just for this scene...)

Garrick: Ooooh. Slashy slashy samurai/feudal Japan. Fun. I have a feeling that I will really enjoy this, and probably learn more about Japanese history than I ever did in school. So, hurrah for historical anime. ^_^
